Ingredients:

1 cup oatmeal

1 cup whole wheat flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup yogurt/almond milk

Directions:

1) Preheat oven to 450 degrees fahrenheit

2) Put oatmeal in blender and grind until smooth. Combine oatmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt. In a different bowl, combine honey and olive oil and then stir in yogurt/almond milk. Combine the mixtures from both bowls and stir until a dough is created. Make a ball with the dough and place on a baking sheet.

3) Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.

Oatmeal and wheat flour are a good source of whole grains and fiber. I like to make this bread leading up to a race, because it is made up of complex carbohydrates which get digested slower and it provides a more substantial source of energy.
