The Petit Family Foundation 5K Road Race in 2014.

Plainville High School Cross Country 2015 Senior Day.

I am a Registered Dietitian and I graduated from the University of Saint Joseph with a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics and an MS in Nutrition. I love eating healthy and it is important to me because it helps me to fulfill my true passions, running and obstacle course racing.

I also ran on the Cross Country team during my time at the University of Saint Joseph. I wasn't always a runner though. In high school I played on the tennis team for 4 years, and I realized that my true passion is running during Senior year so I decided to join the Cross Country team. After running a season on the team, I decided to run in college.

During my freshman and sophomore years of high school I didn't have a healthy diet. This impacted my performance in tennis, because I would get tired very easily. Junior year is when everything changed, because I decided to clean up my diet and run my first 5K in 2014. Running that race was the most challenging thing that I have ever done at the time, but I felt very accomplished afterwards. Completing that race led to me completing my first ever Warrior Dash obstacle course race with my dad. Which eventually led to me completing my first ever Spartan Trifecta in 2015. My obstacle course racing journey led me to competing at the elite level. Due to proper nutrition and training, I was able to maintain a high level of fitness to compete in about 20 races per year.

Nutrition and Fitness are a huge part of my life. Here's a piece of my journey.
